Description
Alc. 12% – RS 2.3 g/l – pH 3.39 – TA 5.3 g/l
A blend of 68% Chenin Blanc and 32% Colombard. Grapes from Schist soils and a Colombard block planted in 1984 on the slopes of the Kasteelberg enables us to create this special blend every couple of years. The grapes are whole-bunch pressed and fermented seperately with indigenous yeasts in foudre. Malolactic fermentation occurs and the wines spend 10 months ageing on the lees before blending and bottling.
The wine shows notes of stone fruit and citrus with a fresh, moderate acidity.
