Alc.13.5% – RS 2.1 g/l – pH 3.32 – TA 5.3 g/l
A blended wine of varieties well suited to the Swartland terroir. Chenin Blanc, Viognier, Roussanne and Grenache Blanc each play their part in creating a wine with fresh aromatics and a well balanced structure. Grapes were grown in a combination of Shist and “koffieklip” soils, whole-bunch pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts. Maturation took place in a combination of foudre and smaller format barrels for 10 months prior to bottling.
